Herman Steym Family House in Kaptuktuk

 


This house in Kaptuktuk, Moiben, belonged to Herman Steyn family,  a Boer settler from South Africa, locally known as Kipsepta. The house is believed to have been constructed around 1950s. Over the years, the building has served variously purposes, including being a school (Kaptuktuk), currently Chemungen primary school.
